Specialized Orthopedic Solutions, Inc., (DBA: SOS Medical) is a Joint Commission Accredited and Medicare licensed DMEPOS distributor, orthotics and prosthetics manufacturer, and Physical Therapy Clinic. SOS Medical was founded in 2003 as a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) distributorship. In 2011, we expanded our services to include a Prosthetics division, and early in 2017 we rounded out our rehabilitative solutions to include a Physical Therapy Clinic.
Since 2003, we have evolved into one of the leading providers of post-operative, pain management, rehabilitative products and services, and a preferred manufacturer of custom Orthotics and Prosthetics in Southern California. Our success can be attributed to patient care.
Our Staff and Associates have been selected, not only for their knowledge and skills within their department, but for their genuine desire to ensure that our patients reach their fullest potential.
All third party billing is handled in house by our very competent and skilled billing/authorizations team. Should an ‘out of pocket’ expense incur, you will be notified prior to products being dispensed to discuss these charges and a payment plan, if necessary.
Our Patient Service Representatives (PSR’s) cover all of Central and Southern California. They travel to the patient’s home, office or hospital’s bedside to deliver prescribed products/services along with educational tutorials to ensure proper product use/knowledge. Our after hours and weekend call center ensures that patient calls are not missed and concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
